No. ChecksSorted is a matching platform. We pass your enquiry to a participating independent professional, who carries out the work and issues any report or certificate. ChecksSorted does not inspect properties, carry out remedial work or issue certificates itself.
The independent professional does. After you send an enquiry, they contact you to discuss availability, the work required and the price. Any agreement is made directly between you and the professional. ChecksSorted does not set prices or take payment for the work.
You can arrange five services: an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report, an electrical safety inspection), a Gas Safety Certificate (a landlord gas safety check on gas appliances and pipework, often called a CP12), a Fire Risk Assessment, an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) and Fire Alarm Servicing.
We are starting in Reading, Slough, High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Uxbridge, and adding more areas as our network of professionals grows. If your postcode is outside these areas, you can still send your enquiry and we will contact you if that changes.
We review your enquiry and aim to match it with a participating independent professional who covers the service and your area. They then contact you directly to discuss availability, price and the work required. Sending an enquiry does not guarantee that a professional will be available.
Participating professionals are independent businesses, and each one is responsible for holding the qualifications, registrations and insurance its work requires, for example Gas Safe registration for gas work. Before you agree to any work, ask the professional to confirm theirs. ChecksSorted does not issue certificates or guarantee the work of independent professionals.
